Got an 08SE kit from Cory zero miles like new. Not sure what I`m doing with red parts yet.
And as some of our great members say,

Hey Scott the 2010 formans are actually the same color as the frame. Your right a shade off in color.
rredst I was looking for all black so I sprayed the little belly pan matte from Color rite it matches great.
I will try the 08 formans to see what it does and post some pic`s.
Right now I am healing from surgery (rotorcuff) and took all I could just to get the bike outside for some pic`s. Amazing how when you get into something you can open a can of worms.... My surgery was only minor just going to make a little clearance and woke from surgery with the Dr telling me he had to put a screw in and some thread to hold my shoulder together. Went from no tear to a full thickness tear and detached 80%. I had full range of motion before surgery but not now... Dr. says 4 months from Feb 13th. Ouch! thats hurting my riding! pic of my new hardware.. It`s titanium too.

Wow, Mike, that sucks for the Spring riding season. I was recently released (Feb. 21) by the ortho doc from my crash of November 13, 2011. My collarbone looks like hell on an X-ray, but the sawbones says it's all healed. Been riding since just after Xmas (hehe!) Rotator cuff surgery is a bit of a slog, rehab-wise.

I think ZX-14's look great in red!
English is my second language, please excuse my typos.
I meant to ask this question a few days ago on another thread, are the plastics/fairings/panels/fenders interchangeable in most ZX-14 models? For example, would the plastics of a candy burnt orange 2009 ZX-14 Special Edition fit a blue 2007 model?
Sorry to hear about the surgery.

Hey Scott your rims are awesome! I personally like black bikes and had a deposit on 2011 black one. The dealer sold it out from under me thinking they could get me another one. They could`nt find one and all they had was left over 2010 Red that was $2600 cheaper. I thought about painting the bike gloss black but the 2010 Red really is a nice color and would be a crime to paint over it. I rode all last season Red and this past fall started to look at used OEM parts on ebay and was thinking I would paint those and put them on my bike. Then I came across Cory on Ebay. He had complete fairing kits Zero miles all sorts of colors. He mentioned he had 08 SE kit and we made the deal. Thats why I painted the red lowers wanting all black and the matte finish just looks sinister. One thing I did mess up was the tail section flames where the ZX14 is. I bought the decals $65. each and tried to put them on with one hand (injury) and got some wrinkles in the decal. What thew me off is there is a clear red laminate over the flames that I thought peeled off. I didnt. It looks too shiney like it suppose to come off but it wont. Scott would you have a close up pic of tail section decal from your bike or maybe you could just comment.

Sorry for marking up your bike. Thanks for the pic`s! It must have something to do with the black color. The decal ends I put arrows to line up with on your pic`s line up with the end of the decal on my bike. The transparent red laminate must only work with red tail sections. I got the decal from Bike Bandit OEM parts. Bummer did`nt see that coming $120. in decals. Your decals dont look as shiney in between the flames. Mine just look wrong. Gonna wait a couple days to decide but pretty sure I`m peeling them off. Thanks again Scott you been helping me out quite a bit!
